Label Text
This network of faience beads formed a decorative cover for a mummy. The beaded cover would have been placed on top of the mummified body after it had been carefully wrapped in a shroud. The amulets depicting the winged scarab and the Four Sons of Horus served to protect the deceased on the dangerous journey to the afterlife.
