Label Text
The Milwaukee Lithographing and Engraving Company printed advertisements for breweries around the country. This bird’s-eye poster of the Lone Star Brewing Company portrays the brewery complex teeming with activity as rail cars deliver supplies and horses draw wagons laden with barrels. Beyond the brewery is a fanciful view of a majestic waterfall on the San Antonio River. Idyllic, uninhabited countryside stretches into the distance, surrounded by a frame of lush vegetation with postcard-like vignettes of San Pedro Springs, the Alamo, and the four Spanish mission churches south of the city.
