Being part of a famous and talented family of artists only brought out the best in Henriette Wyeth. She is known internationally as a portrait painter. Her portraits are in the permanent collection of the National Portrait Gallery and other prestigious museums. This portrait of her brother Andrew, dressed in his French Legion of Honor attire, was commissioned by SAMA following the Museum's purchase of her portrait by Andrew.
