This multicolored tripod bowl could have held stews, tamales, or tortillas. There are rattles in each of the feet which would have made for festive sounds during feasts. Both elites and non-elites were able to acquire painted vessels such as this, likely through a market exchange system. (Bernadette Cap, 2022)
