This vessel was made and used in the Kanjobal-speaking region of highland Guatemala. A perfect example of how form follows function, every aspect of the construction of this vessel deals with the transportation and storage of water. The vessel's small opening and elongated neck prevent spillage during uphill treks back from local water sources.
