This handsome relief sculpture shows a man and wife, presumably the owners of the tomb that this scene once decorated. They sit in a traditional pose with her far hand placed on his shoulder. Both wear broad collar necklaces, and a fillet further adorns her brow. The relief is noteworthy for the subtle quality of the carving: while the figures of the couple project slightly from the surface, only the stone immediately surrounding them has been carved away.
