These figural sculptures portray two key figures in the Mexican Revolution of 1910–1920. The artist, Eulogio Alonso, had a successful ceramics workshop in the Barrio de la Luz, Puebla, where he made traditional poblano works such as pulque pitchers along with figural pieces such as these.

Estas esculturas figurativas retratan a dos figuras claves de la Revolución Mexicana de 1910-1920. El artista, Eulogio Alonso, tuvo un exitoso taller de cerámica en el Barrio de la Luz, Puebla, donde elaboró obras tradicionales poblanas como cántaros de pulque, junto con piezas figurativas como éstas.
