Label Text
The motifs on this two-fold screen suggest a seasonal transition from late winter to early spring. While the short willow leaves indicate early spring growth, the red and white camelia blossoms are typical of winter landscapes and are frequently seen blooming in snow. The pair of swimming ducks suggests the weather is growing warmer and add signs of life to this quiet scene.
