This piece was created by the artist who staged herself in the photograph. The effect is achieved through body paint and makeup on the artist, with no digital alterations. The photograph was taken with traditional film, using a Hasselblad camera. The photograph was printed on Cibachrome photographic paper, a luminous paper that transmits a "glow" to the prints, which gives more definition to the white tones. The photograph was printed in Madrid, using the highest quality traditional laboratory process. The print was then mounted on aluminum backing, using a heat process and are not treated with any kind of surface coating.
