Rodolfo (Rudolph) Guzzardo Guzzardi

American, born Italy, 1903 - 1962

Born in Florence, Italy, in 1903. Immigrated to New York in the early 1920s and settled in Houston, TX, in 1933. Lived in Dallas, TX, in 1940. He returned to Houston and was the first chairman of the art department at Sacred Heart Dominican College. He also worked as a conservator and art dealer, traveling between Houston and New York.
