DescriptionCarved bone vessel in form of a human figure in a kneeling position. They are adorned with a tunic that has incised decorative elements and a headdress with owl motif incorporated in it. The person carries a llama on its back.Label TextThis delightfully rendered vessel carved from animal bone depicts a man in a kneeling position. On his back he carries a llama. The vessel probably held powdered lime that was used to bring out the the stimulant quality of coca leaves.
