DescriptionVessel with a wide circular mouth with vertical lip, narrower neck flaring to a bulbous body, and short cylindrical foot. The "foot" is not designed to support the vessel upright.Label TextClay containers like this one have often been found in Roman houses in Pompeii and other towns. Similar containers have been found among toiletries and other personal items, but their precise function remains unknown.
