The path is decorated with cacti and agave plants, and two brilliantly-plumed birds fly overhead.Label TextThis piece embodies the traditional style of Tlaquepaque glazed ceramic platters and was made to be a decoration. The platter depicts figures in sombreros walking between two villages, surrounded by agave plants and prickly pear cacti. Tlaquepaque is one of several communities in the Mexican state of Jalisco that has a rich, centuries-old ceramic tradition.
