DescriptionThis informal winter jacket is padded with silk wadding for warmth. The red silk has a damask weave design of scattered groups of flowers. Around the neck, front and bottom of the coat is a shaped border of black and cream-colored satin band embroidered in polychrome floss silk with butterflies, flowers and lotus. The opening with bronze buttons starts from the neck, extending downward to the right side. The coat is lined with emerald green silk.
