DescriptionIncense burner--lung ch'uan (longquan) type; The round pot with slightly flared sides is divided by three horizontal ribs and supported on 3 short cabriole legs. There is also a small foot ring which is unglazed at the rim and glazed in the exterior. The bottoms of the cabriole legs are partially glazed. They only partially cover the interior which is burnt red in the firing. The stoneware with a blue-green glaze associated with Lung-ch'uan is usually called celadon.On view
