DescriptionEarthenware whole roller stamp with geometric motifs.Label TextStamps such as this could have been made by pressing clay into a mold or carved by hand. This stamp might have been used with paint or dye to decorate cloth or the human body. The geometric motifs that make up this stamp mirror those painted on earthenware vessels.
