DescriptionA large carved celadon dish, early Ming Dynasty, the center decorated with flowering branches of peony, pomegranate, chrysanthemum and camellia, arranged around stylized six-petalled flowerhead, the fluted cavetto encircled by radiating chrysanthemum.Label TextLongquan celadons were produced at kilns in Zhejiang province and were highly valued by both Chinese and Middle Eastern collectors during the Ming dynasty.
