DescriptionCarved in sgraffito with stylized floral decoration reserved in the biscuit and covered with a thick dark brown glaze. Large ovoid storage jar, incised design on upper half. The jar is incised with scroll type design. Black-brown glaze covers reddish grey stoneware. Bottom half of the jar is solid glaze and ends unevenly about 2 inches from the foot rim, 2 inch band under lip is composed of repeating leaf design.
